In my opinion, one of the best investments you can make outside of music, to grow your music career, is in professional photography and video.
That is, quality photos and videos of your live performances and, if you don’t do concerts yet, good studio photos and videos performing your songs.
Why’s that?
Because if you are serious about your musical career, sooner or later you will have to accept that it’s a MUSIC BUSINESS.
And no one follows someone who seems amateur, they follow someone who is attractive, interesting, who is seen to be dedicated to their project.
Furthermore, if you manage to convey with photos and videos what is experienced at one of your concerts, you will be giving people a great reason to come see you live.
Good photos and videos are the best way to show your aesthetic and develop a personal brand.
I always say it, it’s not enough to be professional, you have to look like it!
